Mosques  are places of worship for followers of Islam. With the spread of islamic world over the centuries islamic architecture on being exposed to and mixed with a whole lot of different cultures have evolved into something that has the potential to create a variety of Wonders.Here are only 7 of those wonders......

Al Haram Mosque : ( بیت اللہ)

It is also named as al-Masjid al-Ḥarām and  "the Sacred Mosque.

It is the Largest Mosque in the world located in the sacred city of MECCA with a capacity to accomodate millions of worshipers at a time and the construction work still continued to this day.

 The Grand Mosque includes other important significant sites, including the Black Stone, the Zamzam Well, Maqam Ibrahim, and the hills Safa and Marwa.

This amazing Mosque located in the holy city of Madina.

Holds the honour of being built by HOLY PROPHET (SAWW).

It is 3rd  mosque built in the history of Islam and now became one of the most beautiful, sacred and largest mosques in entire world.

SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE : (شیخ زید مسجد)

The glamourous mosque is a well-known mosque located in Abu Dabhi.

It is the biggest mosque in the country which can hold upto 40,000 Allah's lovers at a time.

SULTAN AHMED MOSQUE :

Also known as BLUE MOSQUE  is an ancient masterpiece of islamic architecture built between 1609 and 1616 in the city of ISTANBUL.

Hand-painted blue tiles adorn the mosque’s interior walls, and at night the mosque is bathed in blue as lights frame the mosque’s five main domes, six minarets and eight secondary domes.

To this day Mosque serves as a tourist spot and a typical mosque as well.

CRYSTAL MOSQUE :

The mosque built between 2006 and 2008 is one of its kind in the entire world.

This amazing piece of architechture located in ISLAMIC HERITAGE PARK on WAN MAN island MALAYSIA  is built with steel, glass, and yes Crystal.

The eye-catching mosque is a tourist spot as well as a praying place of Muslims.

HASSAN II MOSQUE :

This marvel of architect holds the reputation of being largest mosque in Morocco, the second largest in Africa, and the 5th largest  in the world. 

It has world's tallest minaret at 210 metres (689 ft).

Lying by the ATLANTIC OCEAN it can accomodate more than one lac worshippers at a time.

AKHMAD  KADYROV MOSQUE:

This beautiful mosque located in Grozny is one of  the biggest mosques in Russia with a capacity of accomodating over 10000 worshipers at a time and is declared as the HEART OF CHECHNYA.
